The TAG Powerline Purifier was the brainchild of Harry Paller, who also built the TAG Model One Preamplifier. For a brief period, The Absolute Sound magazine rated the latter as "State of the Art" in phono and line stages. This was TAG's only other product.   The Purifier is designed to parallel the AC audio circuit in order to suck out noise and grunge. Simply plug it into an extra outlet in your audio circuit and it silently does its thing! On the back, a pair of convenience outlets make up for the one it occupies. You do not have to plug your equipment into these -- this device filters every outlet on the circuit, including the two on the back.
